Narrative:

I am writing this in regards to an unsafe flight crew member. I have flown on the aircraft for over 2 yrs and haven't come across someone this lacking in safety and fitness as a jet aircraft flight crew member. In 3 days of flying with captain X, he has shown to me a complete lacking of CRM/safety in all phases of flight. He has had little concern for busting speed and altitude assignments even after being reminded by me of the restriction in advance. Most of the time he doesn't even realize what he has done. He has no concern for sterile cockpit and misses numerous radio calls. He is completely incompetent to be operating as PIC. He also seems mentally incompetent when dealing with minor problems such as a caution EICAS message which get blown out of proportion - he gets fixated and loses focus easily. He uses the excuse of lack of experience in the airplane. He has over 7 months of experience in the airplane and should not be making the same continual errors. I do not feel as if I could count on him in an emergency situation.
