Narrative:

This was the first time I was accomplishing this engineering change order and misunderstood what page 13 item 9 was asking. I did not resident (renumber or rather write) the new part number on the inboard balance panel seals. As soon as the supervisor brought this to my attention, I realized what I failed to accomplish, that is, writing the new part number on the seals.

Title: A B737-800 HAD AN ENGINEERING CHANGE ORDER TO REPLACE THE INBOARD ELEVATOR BAL PANEL SEALS. TECHNICIAN FAILED TO ADD PART NUMBERS TO NEW SEALS.

Narrative: THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME I WAS ACCOMPLISHING THIS ENGINEERING CHANGE ORDER AND MISUNDERSTOOD WHAT PAGE 13 ITEM 9 WAS ASKING. I DID NOT RESIDENT (RENUMBER OR RATHER WRITE) THE NEW PART NUMBER ON THE INBOARD BAL PANEL SEALS. AS SOON AS THE SUPVR BROUGHT THIS TO MY ATTN, I REALIZED WHAT I FAILED TO ACCOMPLISH, THAT IS, WRITING THE NEW PART NUMBER ON THE SEALS.
