Narrative:
The B737 was told to give a good rate of descent and did not do it. I should have given the B737 a 2000 FPM descent. Due to WX rertes in my sector and uret, I was distraction with other things and did not monitor the rate of descent.

Title: ZDC CTLR ISSUES DSCNT CLRNC TO A B737 BUT DOES NOT MONITOR THE EVENT RESULTING IN A LOSS OF SEPARATION WITH A CARJ.
Narrative: THE B737 WAS TOLD TO GIVE A GOOD RATE OF DSCNT AND DID NOT DO IT. I SHOULD HAVE GIVEN THE B737 A 2000 FPM DSCNT. DUE TO WX RERTES IN MY SECTOR AND URET, I WAS DISTR WITH OTHER THINGS AND DID NOT MONITOR THE RATE OF DSCNT.
