Narrative:

Location: dfw airport. Holding short of runway 17C at taxiway er, 1 engine running, tower cleared us to cross runway with an aircraft on 2 mi final. Engine slow to accelerate. Tower called again with aircraft at 1 mi and our forward movement had begun and we had entered the runway environment. Aircraft Y sent around. Engine written up for slow acceleration when we got to the gate.
