Narrative:

Taxiing at fcm for departure. Cleared to taxi on taxiway a to runway 36 (taxiing east on taxiway a). Missed right turn onto taxiway east. Crossed runway threshold to runway 18/36 (at north end of runway). Ground control called 'stop,' stopped plane immediately. Plane did not go on runway. No active traffic (landing or departing) at the time. This is not a report of near collision, no evasive action required by any plane. Runway 36 was active runway. ATC/ground directed I cross runway 18/36 and continue taxi on taxiway D to runway 36. No further events. Problem caused by my (as pilot) inattention, missing turn on taxiway east. Light, visibility was not a factor. Eastbound taxi (on taxiway a) frequently is to 2 parallel runways 27L/right (possibly too familiar with routine, I am based at fcm).

Title: RWY INCURSION WHEN PLT OF A PA46 MALIBU STARTS TO TAXI ACROSS THE ACTIVE RWY AT FCM, MN.

Narrative: TAXIING AT FCM FOR DEP. CLRED TO TAXI ON TXWY A TO RWY 36 (TAXIING E ON TXWY A). MISSED R TURN ONTO TXWY E. CROSSED RWY THRESHOLD TO RWY 18/36 (AT N END OF RWY). GND CTL CALLED 'STOP,' STOPPED PLANE IMMEDIATELY. PLANE DID NOT GO ON RWY. NO ACTIVE TFC (LNDG OR DEPARTING) AT THE TIME. THIS IS NOT A RPT OF NEAR COLLISION, NO EVASIVE ACTION REQUIRED BY ANY PLANE. RWY 36 WAS ACTIVE RWY. ATC/GND DIRECTED I CROSS RWY 18/36 AND CONTINUE TAXI ON TXWY D TO RWY 36. NO FURTHER EVENTS. PROB CAUSED BY MY (AS PLT) INATTENTION, MISSING TURN ON TXWY E. LIGHT, VISIBILITY WAS NOT A FACTOR. EBOUND TAXI (ON TXWY A) FREQUENTLY IS TO 2 PARALLEL RWYS 27L/R (POSSIBLY TOO FAMILIAR WITH ROUTINE, I AM BASED AT FCM).
