Narrative:

I had just landed on runway 5 and was talking to the tower about where I needed to taxi and park. I understood the instructions as right turn off the runway and left on the taxiway. In reality, the instructions were right turn off the runway, right on taxiway a, and left onto the ramp. As I was taxiing, I crossed runway 14/32 before the tower recognized my mistake (no other aircraft were landing or departing). My actions in the future, at airports that I am not familiar with, is to stop just past the hold short line, finish my clean-up and then ensure I fully understand the taxi instructions. It should be noted that I did have a current airport diagram, only the event that I was going to was not noted on the diagram.
