Narrative:

On takeoff with the first officer flying at 1100 ft the right engine experienced a compressor stall. 5 loud bangs were heard. An emergency was declared. The bold face was accomplished and emergency failure checklist was accomplished and engine failure checklist was accomplished. The engine ran normally in idle. So it was not shut down. The landing was normal and the passenger deplaned normally.

Title: A B767-300 ON TKOF CLB AT 1100 FT DECLARED AN EMER AND DIVERTED DUE TO R ENG COMPRESSOR STALLING WITH HIGH EXHAUST GAS TEMPS.

Narrative: ON TKOF WITH THE FO FLYING AT 1100 FT THE R ENG EXPERIENCED A COMPRESSOR STALL. 5 LOUD BANGS WERE HEARD. AN EMER WAS DECLARED. THE BOLD FACE WAS ACCOMPLISHED AND EMER FAILURE CHKLIST WAS ACCOMPLISHED AND ENG FAILURE CHKLIST WAS ACCOMPLISHED. THE ENG RAN NORMALLY IN IDLE. SO IT WAS NOT SHUT DOWN. THE LNDG WAS NORMAL AND THE PAX DEPLANED NORMALLY.
