Narrative:

I had landed at dvt on runway 25L and exited off of the runway. The controller was really busy and gave me the ground frequency. I gave a readback and came to a stop before the taxiway. I was unable to contact ground control and went back to the tower frequency. I was unable to get a break to contact the tower to confirm the frequency after sitting for several mins with no aircraft in my area. (I think ground control had stopped everyone because of me.) I taxied across the taxiway into adjacent parking without clearance. I feel that the events started in class B airspace when they canceled my IFR clearance which I had not expected and at which time my terminal procedures book went to the rear. I then did not have my frequencys handy so I could not readily look up frequency. Regardless of how busy the controller was, I should have stayed put until cleared.

Title: BE35 PLT TAXIES ACROSS TXWY TO ADJACENT RAMP WITHOUT CLRNC.

Narrative: I HAD LANDED AT DVT ON RWY 25L AND EXITED OFF OF THE RWY. THE CTLR WAS REALLY BUSY AND GAVE ME THE GND FREQ. I GAVE A READBACK AND CAME TO A STOP BEFORE THE TXWY. I WAS UNABLE TO CONTACT GND CTL AND WENT BACK TO THE TWR FREQ. I WAS UNABLE TO GET A BREAK TO CONTACT THE TWR TO CONFIRM THE FREQ AFTER SITTING FOR SEVERAL MINS WITH NO ACFT IN MY AREA. (I THINK GND CTL HAD STOPPED EVERYONE BECAUSE OF ME.) I TAXIED ACROSS THE TXWY INTO ADJACENT PARKING WITHOUT CLRNC. I FEEL THAT THE EVENTS STARTED IN CLASS B AIRSPACE WHEN THEY CANCELED MY IFR CLRNC WHICH I HAD NOT EXPECTED AND AT WHICH TIME MY TERMINAL PROCS BOOK WENT TO THE REAR. I THEN DID NOT HAVE MY FREQS HANDY SO I COULD NOT READILY LOOK UP FREQ. REGARDLESS OF HOW BUSY THE CTLR WAS, I SHOULD HAVE STAYED PUT UNTIL CLRED.
