Narrative:

Inadvertent taxi onto active runway, no other aircraft involved. Factors contributing to incursion. 1) copilot's inattention was focused inside cockpit. 2) runway lights on low intensity. 3) grass adjacent to runway was 12 inches and higher, obscuring lights. 4) temporary parking area used for special event is not charted. 5) runway hold short markings faded and hard to see on dark night. Hold short markings do not conform to advisory circular #5340-1H. Surface markings and asphalt surface became weathered and the contrast between the striping and taxiway surface became quite low resulting in surface markings being difficult to see in low light sits. 6) unfamiliarity with airport.
