During descent into clinton-sherman municipal, captain noticed arid smell then moderate smoke in cockpit. Donned oxygen masks/100% and initiated emergency descent with ZDV. Contacted clinton-sherman tower and landed visual runway 35L. Exited runway and emergency ground egress.
