Narrative:
Numerous local training flts on frequency. Several similar call signs and 1 aircraft transmitting but not receiving on frequency. Several aircraft were sequenced in an extremely short time. My aircraft was cleared to land runway 13 approximately 4 mi out straight-in. #2 aircraft was given a close left base and traffic pointed out and he acknowledged. He was to follow a C152 on final. Confusion as to everyone's location in the pattern and not paying attention was probably cause by both tower controller and #2 pilot.

Narrative: NUMEROUS LCL TRAINING FLTS ON FREQ. SEVERAL SIMILAR CALL SIGNS AND 1 ACFT XMITTING BUT NOT RECEIVING ON FREQ. SEVERAL ACFT WERE SEQUENCED IN AN EXTREMELY SHORT TIME.
