Narrative:

On apr/xa/02 in the late afternoon, I observed the repair station push the tail dock into r-hand outboard elevator. On investigation, we found the damage to be minimal to the fiberglass trailing edge of the r-hand elevator. It was suggested by the 145 repair station that they speed tape the aircraft. We made it clear 'speed tape' was not an authority/authorized repair. It was then suggested that a fiberglas repair be made. The repair was made and we failed to document in the aircraft maintenance log or an 'a' check non routine of the said repair. The aircraft then departed for its destination.
