Narrative:

During cruise flight, observed and smelled smoke in the cockpit. Contacted tower with situation and stated there would be no further communication. Per checklist, idented problem as electrical and shut down electrical system. Opened vents, smoke cleared, and landed uneventfully. Supplemental information from acn 543611: approximately 45 mins after takeoff, smoke was detected in the cockpit. We contacted meacham tower and informed them of our situation. We proceeded to complete the checklist. We landed radio out with no further problems.
