Narrative:

On short final, EICAS displayed 'steering fail' message. I exited the runway with rudder pedal steering and differential braking (no tiller steering). Taxied to ramp area and called operations to tow us in to the gate. Maintenance was called. Totally pwred down aircraft (including APU and all batteries) and waited for a few mins. Mfd computer showed 'open circuit.' pwred aircraft back up and all was normal. Maintenance signed off our logbook and we went flying. These electrical airplanes are amazing!
