Narrative:
As I started to taxi, I was told to taxi to runway 34 and taxiway B and hold short of runway 2R. As I neared runway 2L, I asked for confirmation of hold short runway 2R. After crossing runway 2L I passed over the hold lines. I thought that these were for exiting runway 2L. The controller told me to hold short of runway 2R. I responded that I was going to hold short of runway 2R. I was taxiing very slowly because about 3 runways and 2 txwys converge ahead of me. As I passed the dogleg left and was crossing taxiway C, the controller told me to stop. I stopped. The controller said that I had crossed the hold short line. I said that I had not seen it yet. The controller said that it was behind me. I was still 50-70 ft from runway 2R. I expected the hold short lines to be in front of me. The traffic now was to runway 34. No one talked to me for at least 2 mins. Not wanting to aggravate the situation, I just waited for the next transmission. When cleared to taxi across runway 2R to runway 34, it was a different controller. If in fact the hold short lines that I crossed after runway 2L were lined to indicate runway 2R, they are not in a logical place and too far from runway 2R. Callback conversation with a pdk tower specialist revealed the following information: taxiway B has hold lines for runway 2L/20R, on respective sides of the runway. The hold line for runway 2R/20L also serves as a hold line for runway 9/27. Its location is just prior to taxiway C.

Title: A BE9L PLT, TAXIING FOR TKOF AT PDK, TAXIED PAST A HOLD SHORT LINE.
Narrative: AS I STARTED TO TAXI, I WAS TOLD TO TAXI TO RWY 34 AND TXWY B AND HOLD SHORT OF RWY 2R. AS I NEARED RWY 2L, I ASKED FOR CONFIRMATION OF HOLD SHORT RWY 2R. AFTER XING RWY 2L I PASSED OVER THE HOLD LINES. I THOUGHT THAT THESE WERE FOR EXITING RWY 2L. THE CTLR TOLD ME TO HOLD SHORT OF RWY 2R. I RESPONDED THAT I WAS GOING TO HOLD SHORT OF RWY 2R. I WAS TAXIING VERY SLOWLY BECAUSE ABOUT 3 RWYS AND 2 TXWYS CONVERGE AHEAD OF ME. AS I PASSED THE DOGLEG L AND WAS XING TXWY C, THE CTLR TOLD ME TO STOP. I STOPPED. THE CTLR SAID THAT I HAD CROSSED THE HOLD SHORT LINE. I SAID THAT I HAD NOT SEEN IT YET. THE CTLR SAID THAT IT WAS BEHIND ME. I WAS STILL 50-70 FT FROM RWY 2R. I EXPECTED THE HOLD SHORT LINES TO BE IN FRONT OF ME. THE TFC NOW WAS TO RWY 34. NO ONE TALKED TO ME FOR AT LEAST 2 MINS. NOT WANTING TO AGGRAVATE THE SIT, I JUST WAITED FOR THE NEXT XMISSION. WHEN CLRED TO TAXI ACROSS RWY 2R TO RWY 34, IT WAS A DIFFERENT CTLR. IF IN FACT THE HOLD SHORT LINES THAT I CROSSED AFTER RWY 2L WERE LINED TO INDICATE RWY 2R, THEY ARE NOT IN A LOGICAL PLACE AND TOO FAR FROM RWY 2R. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH A PDK TWR SPECIALIST REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: TXWY B HAS HOLD LINES FOR RWY 2L/20R, ON RESPECTIVE SIDES OF THE RWY. THE HOLD LINE FOR RWY 2R/20L ALSO SERVES AS A HOLD LINE FOR RWY 9/27. ITS LOCATION IS JUST PRIOR TO TXWY C.
