Narrative:

We were filed on a flight plan on BR1L out of grand turk (gtk) VOR going to memphis (mem). At cruise altitude at 205 NM north of gtk on BR1L both vors broke lock at 205 NM. Had to dead reckoned to next navigation point (burgo) 57 mi away, which was a turn point on BR1L to an ADF. The aircraft was a non INS aircraft. The ADF defining burgo was islands (bhf). This ADF was svcable but unusable. There were numerous thunderstorms in the area and the ADF was fluctuating almost constantly between 280 degrees and 330 degrees.
