Narrative:

We were taxiing to runway 28. I asked captain if he knew where runway 28 was. He said yes. As we were taxiing to runway 28, I said he should not be checking thrust reversers -- that is the copilot's function. I believe he became distraction and taxied past the turn for runway 28. We crossed the departure end of runway 28. Ground then cleared us to turn around and taxi to runway 28. I believe the pilot was distraction because I am his employer and I corrected him during taxi.
