Narrative:

Flew from pdx to psp. Landed on runway 31L. After landing, psp tower instructed us to turn right on taxiway H and contact ground. Turned on taxiway H and contacted ground control. Ground instructed us to continue on taxiway H across runway 31R and taxi to parking. After exiting runway, completed checklist and continued taxi. Thought I crossed parallel runway when in fact I had only crossed taxiway C. Turned right on what I initially thought was taxiway east, but was in fact runway 31R. After I had made the turn, I realized I was on the runway. Ground called immediately and told us we were on the runway and instructed us to exit at next taxiway. Exited at next taxiway, which was taxiway C, without any conflict incident. I had in my mind that I needed to cross the runway before I turned right on the taxiway. When I crossed taxiway C, in my mind I had crossed the runway.

Title: C550 CREW HAD A RWY INCURSION AT PSP.

Narrative: FLEW FROM PDX TO PSP. LANDED ON RWY 31L. AFTER LNDG, PSP TWR INSTRUCTED US TO TURN R ON TXWY H AND CONTACT GND. TURNED ON TXWY H AND CONTACTED GND CTL. GND INSTRUCTED US TO CONTINUE ON TXWY H ACROSS RWY 31R AND TAXI TO PARKING. AFTER EXITING RWY, COMPLETED CHKLIST AND CONTINUED TAXI. THOUGHT I CROSSED PARALLEL RWY WHEN IN FACT I HAD ONLY CROSSED TXWY C. TURNED R ON WHAT I INITIALLY THOUGHT WAS TXWY E, BUT WAS IN FACT RWY 31R. AFTER I HAD MADE THE TURN, I REALIZED I WAS ON THE RWY. GND CALLED IMMEDIATELY AND TOLD US WE WERE ON THE RWY AND INSTRUCTED US TO EXIT AT NEXT TXWY. EXITED AT NEXT TXWY, WHICH WAS TXWY C, WITHOUT ANY CONFLICT INCIDENT. I HAD IN MY MIND THAT I NEEDED TO CROSS THE RWY BEFORE I TURNED R ON THE TXWY. WHEN I CROSSED TXWY C, IN MY MIND I HAD CROSSED THE RWY.
