Narrative:

Passenger and travel companion very loud during boarding at gate, witnessed by flight attendant #4. During my PA/safety demonstration, I had to stop because of mr X being very verbal/loud during taxi. Flight attendant #3 asked him to be quiet. Other passenger could not hear the demonstration. Flight attendant #3 told me that passenger appeared intoxicated. I agreed. I told flight attendant #3 to not serve both passenger any alcohol. Passenger became very irate. Challenged my decision at length. I told him that he was staying on board to cun because of my decision and that there was no further discussion in the matter. He demanded that I was. I corrected him and told him that I report only to the captain and air carrier X. I entered the cockpit during taxi out from dfw and advised the captain of the situation. The captain stopped the aircraft taxi and asked if I wanted the passenger removed. I said no, and that the situation was handled. In-flight, the passenger cornered me in the first class galley and was irate. Told him that he was interfering with my duties and to situation down and say nothing. He later apologized.
