Narrative:
At new airport during taxi out, told 'take taxiway a to runway 9, hold short.' while working with erratic radios, I turned on taxiway a crossing active runway 18R without permission. Tower said 'stop, do a 180 degree turn and go back to taxiway a to runway 9, hold short.' please note airport diagram, from FBO in southwest quadrant the taxiway a to runway 36L and taxiway a to runway 9 look almost alike. During distraction, I missed it.
