Narrative:

I was a jump seater on this flight. During approach to tus, the first officer (who is irrationally hostile toward formerly absorbed airline pilots) heard my wrist watch alarm go off and thought it was a cell phone. This prompted me to check my cell phone which was indeed in the 'on' position. The only interference to the flight was the first officer's distraction from his duties for his continuing personal verbal attack on me.
