Narrative:

We landed, started a normal takeoff, and noticed numerous birds on runway 25. We attempted an aborted takeoff, but were obviously unsuccessful. Upon passing the birds, we did not hear or see any strikes, so we continued with a normal takeoff on the remaining runway. We told the tower of the bird activity and contacted departure. While requested further practice approachs, I noticed bird feet sticking out of the left engine behind the propeller. We continued and decided, after checking engine gauges and performance, to make a landing as soon as possible. We notified our maintenance personnel.
