Narrative:

We were flying wrong way (wbound) at FL410 due to turbulence below. The controller asked for a 15 degree turn for traffic. We believe we heard 15L and read back 15L and the new heading. The controller then asked if we turned left or right. We replied left, and were told to turn right. TCASII displayed a traffic alert, yellow target, and we passed same altitude at approximately 4 mi.
