Narrative:

Taxiing in at bur, which is a sharp turn in, lead marshaller gave me the come ahead signal. I felt the aircraft strike something and came to an immediate stop. At that time the lead then gave me the signal for emergency stop. Damage appeared to be confined to the wingtip fairing only as we had struck airstairs parked on the left side. On taxi in both the first officer and myself cleared the area (all equipment was outside the equipment lines) and marshallers were present. I feel I may have been turned in too soon but both wing walkers were giving the ok to proceed signal and the lead marshaller signaled me to come straight ahead. As it turns out we were left of the centerline and that is why wingtip contacted parked airstairs.
