Narrative:

I received my license in july last yr so I needed to go to york, PA. I asked my instructor to take 2 of us. We paid him $100 and he filed a flight plan. So I flew the plane and he told me how to go. He is a CFI also. I thought he was PIC. Since then, I've been told if I put my hands on yoke, I also was PIC.

Narrative: I RECEIVED MY LICENSE IN JULY LAST YR SO I NEEDED TO GO TO YORK, PA. I ASKED MY INSTRUCTOR TO TAKE 2 OF US. WE PAID HIM $100 AND HE FILED A FLT PLAN. SO I FLEW THE PLANE AND HE TOLD ME HOW TO GO. HE IS A CFI ALSO. I THOUGHT HE WAS PIC. SINCE THEN, I'VE BEEN TOLD IF I PUT MY HANDS ON YOKE, I ALSO WAS PIC.
