Narrative:

During cruise noticed acceptable vibration in engine #2. Later on received vibration EICAS notification and proceeded with QRH. Complied with QRH which involved precautionary engine shutdown due to unacceptable engine vibration. Declared emergency and performed safe, uneventful single engine approach and landing.
