Narrative:

I asked passenger to taxi and follow the blue taxi lights. I was checking departure frequency and route heading. When I looked up, we had passed the hold short marking. The plane was about half way onto the runway. I stopped the airplane and saw the other airplane about 1 and a half miles out on approach. I was going to ask tower for instruction, but other pilot had noticed my intrusion and was instructed to go around. I was then cleared for takeoff. And was asked to call the tower by telephone the next day, which I did.
