Narrative:

On final, we selected the landing gear down. Nothing happened. We recycled it a few times without effect. Executed a go around and got vectors to work the problem. Declared an emergency. Gravity extended the gear successfully. Successfully landed and stopped on runway 31L. Shut down the engines and were towed to the gate uneventfully.
