Narrative:

Almost at vmb, shanghai approach assigned STAR. Due to language difficulties, we did not input (program) the appropriate STAR into FMS. When asked if we were flying the vmb 14A, we realized our misunderstanding and requested and were assigned an intermediate fix clearance rectifying the error. Language difficulties and fatigue are major factors in these sits. Early clarification of stars and also reclarification of clrncs until properly communicated and understood would solve these sits. Supplemental information from acn 537311: requested direct to wb and were given a corrected clearance.
