Narrative:

We completed the visual approach and landed on runway 18R at cvg. We began to clear by turning left onto taxiway D7. Tower told us to turn left onto taxiway D7, but did not continue with the usual instruction to call our ramp and have a 'good night.' this caught us both off guard, so we stopped on taxiway D7 while trying to decide whether we should call ground or just taxi ahead 400 ft to our ramp. The only trouble was that the captain stopped with our tail painfully close to the runway 18R hold line at taxiway D7 (it was difficult to see if we were all the way clear of runway 18R). The aircraft on approach behind us completed their landing with no complaints. There was no other ground traffic within 1500+ ft of taxiway D7 and our ramp.

Title: A CL65 CREW, AFTER LNDG AT CVG, WERE UNSURE IF THEY HAD CLRED THE RWY SUFFICIENTLY TO CROSS THE HOLD LINE.

Narrative: WE COMPLETED THE VISUAL APCH AND LANDED ON RWY 18R AT CVG. WE BEGAN TO CLR BY TURNING L ONTO TXWY D7. TWR TOLD US TO TURN L ONTO TXWY D7, BUT DID NOT CONTINUE WITH THE USUAL INSTRUCTION TO CALL OUR RAMP AND HAVE A 'GOOD NIGHT.' THIS CAUGHT US BOTH OFF GUARD, SO WE STOPPED ON TXWY D7 WHILE TRYING TO DECIDE WHETHER WE SHOULD CALL GND OR JUST TAXI AHEAD 400 FT TO OUR RAMP. THE ONLY TROUBLE WAS THAT THE CAPT STOPPED WITH OUR TAIL PAINFULLY CLOSE TO THE RWY 18R HOLD LINE AT TXWY D7 (IT WAS DIFFICULT TO SEE IF WE WERE ALL THE WAY CLR OF RWY 18R). THE ACFT ON APCH BEHIND US COMPLETED THEIR LNDG WITH NO COMPLAINTS. THERE WAS NO OTHER GND TFC WITHIN 1500+ FT OF TXWY D7 AND OUR RAMP.
