Narrative:

While flying deer collar locations, I followed one via radio direction finder to the dam. I descended from 2000 ft AGL to 300 ft AGL to get a positive location for ground retrieval. The collar beacon brought me to within 3/4 mi of the dam. I did a quick location and departed the area. Later that afternoon, I was informed that my low level flight had shaken up some of the park's personnel, so I called them and apologized for not calling them before the flight and that I would call prior to any further flts.
