Narrative:

Taxiing to runway 36 at oma, given hold short of runway 32L on taxiway C, we did. The controller then said cleared to hold short of runway 36 on taxiway C, contact tower. We started to taxi, then stopped as the runways were intersecting at the same point at taxiway C. We never encroached runway 36, however, we crossed the hold short line. The controller was confusing. If he would have said, hold there contact tower, then we wouldn't have moved, but we did. Bottom line, we were in the wrong, but the controller's phraseology didn't help either.
