Narrative:

Flying visual approach into pdx when at 800 ft received a gear warning horn. Gear was not down and locked. We lowered gear and accomplished final descent checklist by 500 ft AGL. I was hand flying aircraft while captain was operating radios. We were getting a lot of frequency and altitude changes when SOP broke down. WX was bumpy and I got behind aircraft. Supplemental information from acn 536527: busy approach with no flight automation. FAA inspector on the jump seat. It was a long day for both of us and fatigue contributed.
