Narrative:

There are several ground vehicle roads on the south side of the airport that are not properly marked. I have observed, on more than one occasion, aircraft improperly turn onto these roads from txwys. The roads parallel txwys F and G1 and have recently been installed. Also the east side of taxiway G1 is confusing at night due to lack of lights along its east side. There are no NOTAMS and there have never been any NOTAMS on the ATIS advising of this situation, as well. Should be notamed until corrected. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter states the access road has been in place for about 6 months and parallels 'G1' to the east and 'F' to the south. Although distinguishing taxiway 'F' from the roadway is a concern, the real problem area is 'G1' taxiway, especially at night with no lighting present. The reporter feels the problem areas should be notamed and mentioned on the ATIS.

Title: A PA28 PLT IS CONCERNED ABOUT PLT CONFUSION INVOLVING A TXWY AND A RECENTLY CONSTRUCTED VEHICLE ROADWAY WHICH RUNS ADJACENT TO IT.

Narrative: THERE ARE SEVERAL GND VEHICLE ROADS ON THE S SIDE OF THE ARPT THAT ARE NOT PROPERLY MARKED. I HAVE OBSERVED, ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASION, ACFT IMPROPERLY TURN ONTO THESE ROADS FROM TXWYS. THE ROADS PARALLEL TXWYS F AND G1 AND HAVE RECENTLY BEEN INSTALLED. ALSO THE E SIDE OF TXWY G1 IS CONFUSING AT NIGHT DUE TO LACK OF LIGHTS ALONG ITS E SIDE. THERE ARE NO NOTAMS AND THERE HAVE NEVER BEEN ANY NOTAMS ON THE ATIS ADVISING OF THIS SIT, AS WELL. SHOULD BE NOTAMED UNTIL CORRECTED. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: RPTR STATES THE ACCESS ROAD HAS BEEN IN PLACE FOR ABOUT 6 MONTHS AND PARALLELS 'G1' TO THE E AND 'F' TO THE S. ALTHOUGH DISTINGUISHING TXWY 'F' FROM THE ROADWAY IS A CONCERN, THE REAL PROB AREA IS 'G1' TXWY, ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT WITH NO LIGHTING PRESENT. THE RPTR FEELS THE PROB AREAS SHOULD BE NOTAMED AND MENTIONED ON THE ATIS.
