Narrative:
Departed vgt on 220 degree heading. Was not told when to contact las approach. When I called them, was told I was in class B airspace. Was then cleared into the class B airspace. Did not think I was in their airspace on the 220 degree heading.

Narrative: DEPARTED VGT ON 220 DEG HDG. WAS NOT TOLD WHEN TO CONTACT LAS APCH. WHEN I CALLED THEM, WAS TOLD I WAS IN CLASS B AIRSPACE. WAS THEN CLRED INTO THE CLASS B AIRSPACE. DID NOT THINK I WAS IN THEIR AIRSPACE ON THE 220 DEG HDG.
