Narrative:
The l-hand APU access door cam-lock fasteners were not properly and/or fully engaged into their receptacles, which allowed for airload and vibration to cause 3 of 6 cam-lock fasteners to be damaged beyond continued service. As a result of damage l-hand access door was removed and replaced with new.

Title: A DC9-30 INCURRED DAMAGE TO THE L APU ACCESS DOOR DUE TO FAILURE TO CORRECTLY SECURE THE CAM-LOCK FASTENERS.
Narrative: THE L-HAND APU ACCESS DOOR CAM-LOCK FASTENERS WERE NOT PROPERLY AND/OR FULLY ENGAGED INTO THEIR RECEPTACLES, WHICH ALLOWED FOR AIRLOAD AND VIBRATION TO CAUSE 3 OF 6 CAM-LOCK FASTENERS TO BE DAMAGED BEYOND CONTINUED SVC. AS A RESULT OF DAMAGE L-HAND ACCESS DOOR WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH NEW.
