Narrative:

Before clearance to destination, I was cleared to taxi to active runway 10. In order to reach the departure end, you must cross runway 10. Not being given a hold and assuming a clearance to a runway was a clearance to cross any runway unless told to hold at the intersection, I crossed runway 10 and was immediately informed I was not cleared to cross. The normal runways used are 1/19. I also have to cross runway 10 to arrive at runway 1 departure area and ground had only told me to hold when traffic was also using runway 10/28. I assumed since I was not told to hold I was cleared to cross. An error I certainly will not repeat and will review aim and regulations immediately.

Title: A TURBO COMMANDED 690B PLT CROSSES THE ACTIVE RWY (RWY 10) WHEN CLRED TO TAXI TO RWY 10 AT GMU, SC.

Narrative: BEFORE CLRNC TO DEST, I WAS CLRED TO TAXI TO ACTIVE RWY 10. IN ORDER TO REACH THE DEP END, YOU MUST CROSS RWY 10. NOT BEING GIVEN A HOLD AND ASSUMING A CLRNC TO A RWY WAS A CLRNC TO CROSS ANY RWY UNLESS TOLD TO HOLD AT THE INTXN, I CROSSED RWY 10 AND WAS IMMEDIATELY INFORMED I WAS NOT CLRED TO CROSS. THE NORMAL RWYS USED ARE 1/19. I ALSO HAVE TO CROSS RWY 10 TO ARRIVE AT RWY 1 DEP AREA AND GND HAD ONLY TOLD ME TO HOLD WHEN TFC WAS ALSO USING RWY 10/28. I ASSUMED SINCE I WAS NOT TOLD TO HOLD I WAS CLRED TO CROSS. AN ERROR I CERTAINLY WILL NOT REPEAT AND WILL REVIEW AIM AND REGS IMMEDIATELY.
