Narrative:

On taxi in to gate at ric, aircraft #1 was cleared by ground to pass aircraft #2 on ramp/taxiway. Aircraft #1 taxied by aircraft #2 on right side and parked at gate. Aircraft #2 complained about aircraft #1 being too close after aircraft #1 had passed and parked. Minimum distance was at least 25 ft between wingtips. Ric ground control had directed aircraft #1 around aircraft #2 and there were no problems in the maneuver.

Narrative: ON TAXI IN TO GATE AT RIC, ACFT #1 WAS CLRED BY GND TO PASS ACFT #2 ON RAMP/TXWY. ACFT #1 TAXIED BY ACFT #2 ON R SIDE AND PARKED AT GATE. ACFT #2 COMPLAINED ABOUT ACFT #1 BEING TOO CLOSE AFTER ACFT #1 HAD PASSED AND PARKED. MINIMUM DISTANCE WAS AT LEAST 25 FT BTWN WINGTIPS. RIC GND CTL HAD DIRECTED ACFT #1 AROUND ACFT #2 AND THERE WERE NO PROBS IN THE MANEUVER.
