Narrative:

After gear up, we got a brakes hot ECAM. We put the gear down per ECAM. Temperature was 370 degrees and it went on up to 430 degrees. We called dispatch and maintenance since the temperature did not go down and being unsure of what we had (fire/bad sensor). We got the flight attendants to do a cabin advisory, then we declared an emergency and decided to go into denver. We landed at 135000 pounds. We had the fire trucks check out the left main inboard brake and it was found to be cool. We then went to gate xx and after engine shutdown the brake temperature dropped from 425 to 0. (Bad sensor.) maintenance deferred the brake temperatures and we were on our way in 25 mins. We did that a 25 min delay in cos getting deiced due to lack of people to run 2 of the 3 trucks that we have there. Also, when we got to ord, we had to wait 10 mins for someone to park us.
