Narrative:

I was on a VFR flight fro ZZZ to ZZZ1 for a breakfast stop. I departed ZZZ1 for ZZZ2. Upon departure I contacted approach control for flight following (to avoid restr area) approach control turned me over to another frequency and I was told to stand by. When the controller got back to me. I asked for flight following. She told me to contact center. Upon contacting center, I repeated my request for flight following. The controller replied that this restr area had been enhanced and we were to proceed on our present heading and we would be out in a couple of minutes. Prior to contacting approach, I set my heading to pass the restr area approximately 3 miles north of the area shown on my argus 5000 and maps. This 3 mile clear area was apparently not enough to satisfy the new restrs. After I was clear of the restr area center contacted me and requested I call on a land line as soon as I landed.

Title: BEECH BONANZA PLT INADVERTENTLY PENETRATED THE TFR AROUND PROHIBITED AIRSPACE WHEN FLYING WITHIN 3 MILES OF THE PROHIBITED AIRSPACE. PLT WAS NOT AWARE OF THE EXTENDED AIRSPACE RADIUS AND REQUESTED FLT FOLLOWING TO HELP ENSURE THAT I WOULD NOT HAPPEN AGAIN.

Narrative: I WAS ON A VFR FLT FRO ZZZ TO ZZZ1 FOR A BREAKFAST STOP. I DEPARTED ZZZ1 FOR ZZZ2. UPON DEP I CONTACTED APCH CTL FOR FLT FOLLOWING (TO AVOID RESTR AREA) APCH CTL TURNED ME OVER TO ANOTHER FREQ AND I WAS TOLD TO STAND BY. WHEN THE CTLR GOT BACK TO ME. I ASKED FOR FLT FOLLOWING. SHE TOLD ME TO CONTACT CTR. UPON CONTACTING CTR, I REPEATED MY REQUEST FOR FLT FOLLOWING. THE CTLR REPLIED THAT THIS RESTR AREA HAD BEEN ENHANCED AND WE WERE TO PROCEED ON OUR PRESENT HEADING AND WE WOULD BE OUT IN A COUPLE OF MINUTES. PRIOR TO CONTACTING APCH, I SET MY HEADING TO PASS THE RESTR AREA APPROX 3 MILES N OF THE AREA SHOWN ON MY ARGUS 5000 AND MAPS. THIS 3 MILE CLR AREA WAS APPARENTLY NOT ENOUGH TO SATISFY THE NEW RESTRS. AFTER I WAS CLR OF THE RESTR AREA CTR CONTACTED ME AND REQUESTED I CALL ON A LAND LINE AS SOON AS I LANDED.
