Narrative:

This situation happened while landing at the charlotte douglas airport in day VFR conditions. Our aircraft was cleared to land on runway 23 on a visual approach. We had been tracking the localizer for at least 15 mi. We were on the GS, putting our touchdown point at the fixed distance marker on runway 23. We were fully figured and about 500 ft above the ground when we saw another aircraft landing on runway 18L which crossed runway 23. At our present speed it seemed that we would both be going through the intersection at the same time. At that time, the tower controller told the twin cessna to go around, but it didn't. It continued and at this point I was considering evasive action. I started to deviate from the GS and finally, on the third call, the twin cessna started its go around. I was able to continue the landing rather uneventfully.
