Narrative:

After taxi out from terminal area on taxiway a while awaiting requested amendment to flight release. Advised ground control of need to delay and because anther aircraft was taxiing for departure runway 10L ground advised us to switch to tower. Tower cleared us to cross runway 10L via taxiway J and hold short of runway 10R allow other aircraft to depart runway 10L. Captain taxiing crossed runway 10L approach while first officer became occupied with ACARS response from dispatch and new takeoff date for runway 10R. As pilot taxing I failed to recognize hold short point for runway 10R until nose had crossed line. Tower cleared us into position and hold on runway 10R at that same moment and advised us to let him know when ready for departure. When asked by captain tower advised of no conflict. I allowed myself to be distracted by activity in cockpit with first officer at time when both should have been outside.
