Narrative:

Taxiing out for takeoff at btv. Taxi instructions were to taxi to runway 33, hold short of runway 1. The captain was taxiing and he turned left on taxiway B, and stopped short of runway 1. The nose of the aircraft had crossed the hold short line. I had my head down working on the weight and balance and takeoff data. Ground control told us to stop but we were already stopped. The intention of ground control was for us to go straight on taxiway a to taxiway C, taxi and hold short there. They never gave us specific instructions.
