Narrative:

We landed on runway 18R in dfw. Clearing the runway, we switched to ground control and were given clearance to taxi to our gate. I missed in the taxi instructions to hold short of runway 18L. It is my habit to repeat all hold short clrncs back to the first officer when I hear them. The first officer did not catch that I did not repeat the hold short clearance. The first officer was heads down when we approached runway 18L. I asked the first officer as we approached the runway if there were any hold short clrncs. The first officer looked up and said 'yes, hold short of the runway.' by the time I stopped, we had taxied just over the hold short line. I am going to brief my first officer's in the future that if they do not hear me repeat any hold short clearance, to ask if I heard it.
