Narrative:

Left sna flying under the hood to go to gcn. Leveled flight at 9000 ft just past paradise VOR on V-442 when left engine began to lose oil. Visually saw the oil spilling out of engine and engine oil pressure gauge was rapidly falling. Told socal approach we needed to land, proceeded to ont airport and shut down and feathered left engine. Landed safely at ont. Believe an oil line or seal or gasket in engine broke.
