Narrative:

Mdsd center frequency is too concerned. Hi altitude and approach traffic all fighting for clrncs on same frequency and there is mass confusion. Vdsd needs to separate high and low altitude traffic on different frequencys. Mdsd cleared us to FL310 over veska. New voice on same frequency asked us to confirm level FL280. Said no, we are FL310. Was left at FL310. Never got radar contact with mdsd. Frequency was jammed almost continuously until we entered mteg airspace. Stayed at FL310 as cleared through mteg into mia airspace. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter has received no additional information from company. Recent transitions through mdsq have been without incident.
