Narrative:

Taxied past ground clearance point. Expecting runway 1R and briefed same. Ground cleared aircraft to runway 1L via taxiway M. Crew was distracted by runway change. Aircraft was taxied past approach end of runway 1L on taxiway M to hold short of runway 1R. Runways 28 were active for landing. Runways 1 were active for takeoff. No traffic conflict resulted. When aircraft taxied past clearance point, first officer was reprogramming FMC and checking runway analysis for runway change. Crew was discussing reduced thrust procedure for shorter runway on missed hold line for runway 1L. Sfo does not have flashing light system at hold line for runway 1L. Crew allowed themselves to be distracted by entering new data for runway change. Captain failed to stop aircraft until FMC was fully loaded with changes or to keep himself from taxiing while distracted.
