Narrative:

On 11/tue/01, while on the third leg of a multi-leg day, there was an occurrence that took place which I felt warranted a report to the NASA safety reporting program. This morning started out where the captain of the day received our company issued trip sheets. One of the several trip sheets showed that there was to be a leg later in the day, from ZZZ3 to ZZZ2 with landing in ZZZ2 to pick up a passenger. The captain then called FSS to receive WX and NOTAMS for the upcoming trips. The day was uneventful until the leg from ZZZ3 to ZZZ2. While en route to ZZZ2 my captain noticed that, while receiving ATIS information, that the information included a segment which stated the ZZZ2 and ZZZ1 airports were restr to part 91 GA traffic for landing and within 18 miles of X VOR. This aroused our suspicions as to whether or not we would be allowed to operate within this restr area, as we are a part 91/fractional ownership company. Although we were operating under part 91, we were unsure if this restr pertained to us due to the fact that the company we work for, does hold a 135 certificate (part 135 traffic is allowed within this restr area), we as pilots are 135 trained and the aircraft involved does have a 135 number, so, still unsure we asked the approach controller if we would be allowed to proceed and he replied that yes, it would not be a problem and then offered that we had had other company traffic in and out of ZZZ2. Now mostly satisfied that we would be fine, we continued. Once on the ground, the captain wanted to follow up, just to be sure. He then called our program manager to verify that we were okay to take off and land at ZZZ2. The program manager thought that we would be fine, but called FSS just to double check for us, said, no problem, they are fine for this operation. Still wanting confirmation, the captain called the local FSS, who said absolutely not, if you are operating part 91, you cannot operate in and out of this area. Therefore, we did not take the aircraft out of ZZZ2. Now, uncertain if we had been involved with an airspace infraction, we felt it was necessary to report this event. This temporary airspace restr is due to the events of 09/tue/01. Airspace restrs had been and currently are still being imposed and then lifted in an ever changing, almost daily basis. Also, I myself, had not flown in the area since these tragic events occurred and therefore had no knowledge of these restrs. Furthermore, as I was acting as first officer, I had no direct involvement in the checking of NOTAMS, etc for the airports. Supplemental information from acn 530098: on the ground at ZZZ2 unsure of our situation I called my program manager, who told me that we were fine, but was not 100% sure, so he put me on hold and called FSS. After a few mins, he stated that we were ok to operate in and out of ZZZ2 according to FSS. Just to double check, I called local FSS, where I was told that far 91 operations are restr at ZZZ1, ZZZ2, and ZZZ6 airports as well a 18 NM radius from X VOR at that point I called my program manager and explained him the situation. He told me, since I have not received company recurrent training, I was not far 135 current and we could not proceed with our planned trip.

Title: A BE40 CREW VIOLATED A TFR INVOLVING CLASS B AIRSPACE.

Narrative: ON 11/TUE/01, WHILE ON THE THIRD LEG OF A MULTI-LEG DAY, THERE WAS AN OCCURRENCE THAT TOOK PLACE WHICH I FELT WARRANTED A RPT TO THE NASA SAFETY RPTING PROGRAM. THIS MORNING STARTED OUT WHERE THE CAPT OF THE DAY RECEIVED OUR COMPANY ISSUED TRIP SHEETS. ONE OF THE SEVERAL TRIP SHEETS SHOWED THAT THERE WAS TO BE A LEG LATER IN THE DAY, FROM ZZZ3 TO ZZZ2 WITH LNDG IN ZZZ2 TO PICK UP A PAX. THE CAPT THEN CALLED FSS TO RECEIVE WX AND NOTAMS FOR THE UPCOMING TRIPS. THE DAY WAS UNEVENTFUL UNTIL THE LEG FROM ZZZ3 TO ZZZ2. WHILE ENRTE TO ZZZ2 MY CAPT NOTICED THAT, WHILE RECEIVING ATIS INFO, THAT THE INFO INCLUDED A SEGMENT WHICH STATED THE ZZZ2 AND ZZZ1 ARPTS WERE RESTR TO PART 91 GA TFC FOR LNDG AND WITHIN 18 MILES OF X VOR. THIS AROUSED OUR SUSPICIONS AS TO WHETHER OR NOT WE WOULD BE ALLOWED TO OPERATE WITHIN THIS RESTR AREA, AS WE ARE A PART 91/FRACTIONAL OWNERSHIP COMPANY. ALTHOUGH WE WERE OPERATING UNDER PART 91, WE WERE UNSURE IF THIS RESTR PERTAINED TO US DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE COMPANY WE WORK FOR, DOES HOLD A 135 CERTIFICATE (PART 135 TFC IS ALLOWED WITHIN THIS RESTR AREA), WE AS PLTS ARE 135 TRAINED AND THE ACFT INVOLVED DOES HAVE A 135 NUMBER, SO, STILL UNSURE WE ASKED THE APCH CTLR IF WE WOULD BE ALLOWED TO PROCEED AND HE REPLIED THAT YES, IT WOULD NOT BE A PROB AND THEN OFFERED THAT WE HAD HAD OTHER COMPANY TFC IN AND OUT OF ZZZ2. NOW MOSTLY SATISFIED THAT WE WOULD BE FINE, WE CONTINUED. ONCE ON THE GND, THE CAPT WANTED TO FOLLOW UP, JUST TO BE SURE. HE THEN CALLED OUR PROGRAM MANAGER TO VERIFY THAT WE WERE OKAY TO TAKE OFF AND LAND AT ZZZ2. THE PROGRAM MANAGER THOUGHT THAT WE WOULD BE FINE, BUT CALLED FSS JUST TO DOUBLE CHECK FOR US, SAID, NO PROB, THEY ARE FINE FOR THIS OP. STILL WANTING CONFIRMATION, THE CAPT CALLED THE LOCAL FSS, WHO SAID ABSOLUTELY NOT, IF YOU ARE OPERATING PART 91, YOU CANNOT OPERATE IN AND OUT OF THIS AREA. THEREFORE, WE DID NOT TAKE THE ACFT OUT OF ZZZ2. NOW, UNCERTAIN IF WE HAD BEEN INVOLVED WITH AN AIRSPACE INFRACTION, WE FELT IT WAS NECESSARY TO RPT THIS EVENT. FURTHERMORE, AS I WAS ACTING AS FO, I HAD NO DIRECT INVOLVEMENT IN THE CHECKING OF NOTAMS, ETC FOR THE ARPTS. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 530098: ON THE GND AT ZZZ2 UNSURE OF OUR SIT I CALLED MY PROGRAM MANAGER, WHO TOLD ME THAT WE WERE FINE, BUT WAS NOT 100% SURE, SO HE PUT ME ON HOLD AND CALLED FSS. AFTER A FEW MINS, HE STATED THAT WE WERE OK TO OPERATE IN AND OUT OF ZZZ2 ACCORDING TO FSS. JUST TO DOUBLE CHECK, I CALLED LOCAL FSS, WHERE I WAS TOLD THAT FAR 91 OPS ARE RESTR AT ZZZ1, ZZZ2, AND ZZZ6 ARPTS AS WELL A 18 NM RADIUS FROM X VOR AT THAT POINT I CALLED MY PROGRAM MGR AND EXPLAINED HIM THE SIT. HE TOLD ME, SINCE I HAVE NOT RECEIVED COMPANY RECURRENT TRAINING, I WAS NOT FAR 135 CURRENT AND WE COULD NOT PROCEED WITH OUR PLANNED TRIP.
