Narrative:

I was on a return flight from ZZZ departure airport heading back to home airport ZZZ2. We arrived back at ZZZ2 and I was advised to contact the on duty supervisor at TRACON. I spoke with the supervisor who told me that we had entered the prohibited airspace nearby, which extends out on a 10 mile radius. Although I had prior knowledge reference the prohibited airspace, poor planning on the return trip back home ZZZ2 and poor judgement had placed me passing through the prohibited airspace approximately 8 to 9 miles from center. The supervisor at TRACON advised that no further action would be taken at this time and told me to please be aware of this airspace in the event of future flts in that area.
