Narrative:

On 11/sat/01,I piloted a cessna 172 skyhawk on a VFR flight from ZZZ to ZZZ1. Prior to the flight I called a preflight briefer at the ZZZ FSS. I asked for all applicable NOTAM's on my route of flight and he instructed me that there were tfr's around some of the power plants south of the city. He continued saying the tfr included clear 10 miles around, and up to 18000 ft MSL. I left ZZZ at XA00 and diverted to the west around all power plants marked on my map. When I arrived at ZZZ1, I was instructed to call ZZZ center. Upon doing so, I was told I violated a tfr around the facility. The facility is not marked as a power plant on the sectional and the briefer did not inform me of this. Therefore, I had no way of knowing that a tfr existed.

Title: FSS BRIEFED GA PLT ON TFRS ALONG RTE OF FLT. WHEN LANDED, PLT WAS ADVISED OF TFR VIOLATION, WHICH IS NOT DEPICTED ON THE ZZZ1 SECTIONAL CHART.

I ASKED FOR ALL APPLICABLE NOTAM'S ON MY RTE OF FLT AND HE INSTRUCTED ME THAT THERE WERE TFR'S AROUND SOME OF THE PWR PLANTS S OF THE CITY. HE CONTINUED SAYING THE TFR INCLUDED CLR 10 MILES AROUND, AND UP TO 18000 FT MSL. I LEFT ZZZ AT XA00 AND DIVERTED TO THE W AROUND ALL PWR PLANTS MARKED ON MY MAP. WHEN I ARRIVED AT ZZZ1, I WAS INSTRUCTED TO CALL ZZZ CTR. UPON DOING SO, I WAS TOLD I VIOLATED A TFR AROUND THE FACILITY. THE FACILITY IS NOT MARKED AS A PWR PLANT ON THE SECTIONAL AND THE BRIEFER DID NOT INFORM ME OF THIS. THEREFORE, I HAD NO WAY OF KNOWING THAT A TFR EXISTED.
